Awards Coordinator
- Arrive 30 minutes before the start of each session
- Duties will include preparing ribbons and ensuring they go to the correct teams
- Report to the Computer Operator (usually Diana) for instructions
Concessions
- Set up, organize and tear down concession stand
- Arrive 45 to 60 minutes prior to warm up for each session
Gate
- Arrive 45 to 60 minutes before warm up of each session
- Make sure people entering pool have paid
- Control the money collected, count and deposit money in the office after each session
Grill and Grill Assistant
- Set up cooking area
- Prepare hot dogs and hamburgers
- Work with hospitality to prepare condiments
- Arrive at 9 am to begin set up
Head Timer
- Collect & Count Stop watches at the end of each session
- Organize clipboards, pencils and timer sheets
- Give timer sheets to computer/consul workers.
- Assist timers
- Hand out water bottles if needed
Hospitality
- Coordinate Meals with timeline (to coordinate with officials & coaches to eat off pool deck)
- Arrive 45-60 minutes before warm up for each session
- Set up and organize hospitality room for each session
- Pass out drinks and snacks to timers, referees and coaches (all teams)
- Set up meals for each session
- Break down at the end of last session, pick up and clean up
Meet Set Up
- Set up is done the day before the meet and schedule must be arranged with Coach Luis.
- Assist coaches in setting up meet equipment
- Set up tents and tables for concessions and gate
Meet Marshall
- Arrive 30 minutes before warm up for each session.
- Check in with Lynda Davies immediately upon arrival then with volunteer check in
- Make sure nobody but swimmers are behind the blocks and timers
- Make sure there is no running or horse play on pool deck
Meet Tear Down
- Tear down equipment with coaches
- Tear down tents and tables
Officials
- Must be certified with USA Swimming to sign up for official
- Check in at volunteer sign in at warm up time
- Report to Meet Referee at starter’s tent
Runner
- Check in at warm up time
- Arrive at starter’s tent 15 minutes before meet start
- Post results
- Get times from timers
Team Image
- Maintain pool deck garbage free
- Check locker rooms for toilet paper and refill as needed
- Arrive at warm up time for each session
- Inform life guards when garbage bins need to be changed
Timers
- Time swimmers
- Sign in at warm up
- Arrive at starter’s tent for timer’s meeting 15 minutes before meet starts
Volunteer Check In
- Arrive 45 minutes before warm up and set up swimmer’s entrance
- Keep track of volunteers as they arrive and give name tags
- Assign lane lines for timers
- Hand out timers, pencils and clipboards to timers at timer’s meeting
